Honour the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase. (Proverbs 3:9)
God promises to meet all your financial needs, if you ask Him/Her for help. Learn to be content; practice giving in faith. There is a universal law called the principle of sowing and reaping. If you sow criticism, you are going to reap criticism. If you sow generosity, you are going to reap generosity.
Every farmer knows this principle of sowing and reaping. A farmer has four sacks of seed in his barn and he looks at his empty field. He does not complain. He just goes out and starts planting the seeds.
It sometimes appears illogical that when you have need you should go and give out the little you have. That is why giving requires faith. God says “My ways are not your ways.”
Why did God set it up this way? Because God is a giver. God is the most generous giver in the universe, and God wants you to learn to be a giver cos there is more blessing in giving than in receiving. God wants to build character (a brand) in you.
Brand your life with the godly character of giving to bless God’s work and all of life.
