Better is the poor who walks in his integrity, than the one who is perverse in his lips and is a fool. (Proverbs 19:1)
God does not bless dishonesty but demands fairness in all our dealings. If you want God’s blessings on your finances, you have to be honest in everything you do. You cannot go about duping people and expect God to bless you. This is because God cannot stand dishonesty.
Moreover, the Bible says “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?” “The blessing of the Lord brings wealth and He adds no trouble to it”. You may know or have heard of someone who made money but all it brought him or her was trouble. Profits made dishonestly always bring trouble. Always!
If you are dishonest with others, it will catch up with you sooner or later. If you think you haven’t got caught, the clock is still ticking. The game is still playing; judgment is coming. We cannot mock God and get away with it.
Remember whatever you sow, you will inevitably reap.
